Two things to mention: You don't need to install any driver (though the manual tells you to do so) and check that the very tiny switch is in the correct position (Mac not PC!). Once I got over that fact this card is the only real replacement to put into a Mac Pro. The exception that I didn't expect was that there was no sound going to my second monitor (a Sony TV) through HDMI anymore, although the specs on the OWC website stated even surround sound. Rendering in FCPX or using the stabilisation tool really got faster and the rest for me was "just working again" as before.
